Curtis Winters teaches Band & Orchestra at Orem Junior High, in Orem, UT.

In addition to creating the content on StepWisePublications.com, he created Improv Pathways, a jazz improvisation method, and the NinGenius Music series of apps and online programs.

​Curtis has presented at music educator conferences in Utah, Colorado, Ohio, and Illinois, and is an expert in improvisation, music technology, and beginning band pedagogy.
